Blossomed popcorn bouquets have trailed their delicate petals into the breeze whilst the sunlight slants through often chilly air. Expanses of blue reaching out of sight lift the spirit, reminding of warm and distant memories from summers past, hope that one day the heat will stay and last. In our home there are baby raspberries, long naps and moments of loud amongst so much ordinary, everyday living.
Our half term was fun at grandparents’ house, Amelia learning the joys of being able to roll wherever she wants, and generally losing her cuddly-baby-ness and enjoying freedom.
And clearly I’ve gone a bit crazy with all the weavings lately! I just love the process of thinking of the design, and then bringing a book or Bible story to life. There’s actually one more finished and another started since I took this photo, and they will be (all being well!) on Cheerfully Given, a fun new website for Christian gifts and homeware this Friday! Make sure to like their page on facebook or pop back on Friday for the launch. It’s full of talented Christian creatives in the UK and it’s already so amazing to be a part of.
What have your weeks been like lately? And which is your favourite weaving? (Can you tell which books they’re all inspired by, if you don’t already know?!)
