I remembered that I used to write these posts called ‘Friday Five’- so here’s one to set off your weekend! Only I got to number three and ran out of steam, such is life! But here’s three things I’m enjoying that you might too.
For joy in homemaking– If you’re in the job of looking after a home and/or young children and want a really encouraging podcast to listen to- try The Homemaking Foundations podcast. I’ve heard a few episodes now and each one has been so helpful and always points back to the Bible.
For parents of teens– If you’re in the job of raising teenagers, or have friends or family with teens- check out the Deepen mother-daughter journal. My cousin Andrea has written it and it includes loads of fun questions, prompts, and ideas so that you can pass this from mother to daughter. Growing deeper in your relationship with each other as well as in your faith- I only have to wait another ten years or so until I can use one but I’m looking forward to it! Bonus: all the money goes to the charity she set up, Project Ecuador.
For getting stronger– I’m adding ten minute chunks of things to my day that I want to make long term habits and higher priorities- and the Pilates 30 day body challenge was so great to get me back into the swing of exercise. Robin has a great blog with healthy eating ideas and there’s loads of free workouts on her youtube channel too, so if you want to do some easy exercise from home, look no further!
What things do you want to make a priority more? And how do you approach your home and your relationships with the most intention?
