Back in January when I decided to do this floral alphabet project, I thought maybe I could do one a week, and that it would be done by June. Here we are in September, still going, but I love doing them so much so I’m not complaining! I thought is was time for another instalment to show you how they’re doing now. Having three littles around, even now that Phoebe has started at school means that I have to just make the most of an hour here or there embrace those limitations. Unlike weaving I have to be able to properly concentrate and so I never want to start unless I know I will get a solid chunk of time to get one completely done.
I’ve decided that I’m going to complete the whole set before I turn them into prints or cards or anything- I’m really excited for that part, but enjoying just sinking into the process right now. I’ve just passed the halfway point, and it’s been so much fun. If I can overcome my technical inabilities with editing and the like then I’ve got plans for lots of fun things once the whole collection is finished. Which is your favourite letter?
