January has been blown away into the blustering beginnings of Feburary – but as buds are beginning to form on the trees in anticipation of the life that’s been there, growing and waiting ready for spring to unfurl as we unfurl from our sleepy wintery states too. Perhaps it’s the wind that goes through you or the weather with its sunshine, hail, snow, rain alternations, but I’ve felt some jumpy creativity lately- filled with loads of ideas but not knowing which one to really focus on or put my limited time into. (I did get this Hogwarts weave finished though!)
Our February will hopefully propel us nicely into spring, with birthdays, half term and other busy-ness. Here’s a few things for your weekend (and mine!)
Food for thought
This episode of The Next Right Thing podcast is another great reflection on how to recognise our limits and find space for our soul to breathe. Perhaps it will help us to move forward intentionally into February.
To save your sanity if you find this stuff hard
This book is the best and most helpful thing about how to manage your home. If you find mess piling up and feel tired of thinking about what washing needs doing, you should definitely have a read (only £1.99 on kindle, which you can then read on your phone!)
A little Mary Berry
This banana bread is so easy and so delicious as a healthy(er) snack. I substitute butter for coconut oil to make it better for you and yummier!
Have a wonderful weekend!
